A couple had their wedding plans turned upside down after the groom had a few too many and ended up having to rush to the emergency room.
For couple Paisley and Ravid Rogers-Tripp, it really was a case of in sickness and in health after Rav suffered a fall.
Their April wedding, which had already been rescheduled from 2020 due to Covid, became all the more memorable for all the wrong reasons after chef Rav, 30, suffered a dancefloor disaster.

After one too many espresso martinis, the grooving groom took a tumble – but was adamant he was going to enjoy the rest of his big day.
It wasn’t until 5am that reality finally hit for the newlywed, though.
“That’s when I was sober enough to feel the enormous pain I was in and to see how swollen and bruised my leg was,” Rav said.
So, instead of a morning cuddled up with her new husband, Paisley, also 30, watched him head off to the hospital.
Hours later, Rav called his wife to say he had broken his ankle really badly and would need surgery.
So the couple cancelled their honeymoon and returned home to Exeter, Devon, to wait for the operation.
“We should have been on a romantic walking break in the Lake District,” said school pastoral leader Paisley.
“Instead, I was being Rav’s nurse and had to help with everything from meals to going to the toilet.”
Although Rav needed three hours of surgery after the fall, the couple still look back on their big day and smile.
“Rav says he’d do the whole day again, broken ankle and all,” Paisley said. “We try to see the funny side… now we call espresso martinis‘ankle breakers!’”
And as for the next time there’s a wedding dancefloor? “He’s totally banned!” she laughed.
