SANTA ANA, Calif. — Though the theme park is in the middle of its annual Halloween Horror Nights scare-a-thon, Universal Studios Hollywood is already thinking about packing up the skeletons, ghosts and goblins and decking out the park in millions of twinkling lights as it transitions into the Christmas season starting Nov. 25.
Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will bring the spirit of the season to life inside Hogsmeade Village, which will be completely transformed into a winter wonderland with whimsical decor lining the streets, windows and doors of each little shop. Guests can duck into The Three Broomsticks and Hog’s Head Pub for the seasonal Hot Butterbeer and check out daily holiday a cappella performances by the Hogwarts Frog Choir.
At night, Hogwarts Castle will become the main attraction as The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle returns and casts an impressive light projection show upon the surface of the castle along to a musical score that includes selections from the “Harry Potter” franchise.
