Grey’s Anatomy has paid tribute to the late Eric Dane at the end of Thursday’s (26 February) episode of the ABC show.
On 19 February, the actor best known for his role as Dr Mark Sloan on the long-running medical drama, died following a battle with ALS - a degenerative nervous system disease.
In the first episode that aired since his death, the show honoured Dane with a 60-second montage of some of his most iconic moments as Dr Sloan, also known as McSteamy.
It ends with advice from Dr Sloan.“If you love someone, you tell ’em, even if you’re scared that it’s not the right thing,” he says. “Even if you’re scared that it will burn your life to the ground, you say it. You say it out loud.”
