Greggs have released a statement addressing rumours a new store will be opening in Sherwood.
Greggs already has numerous stores located across the city, in Old Market Square, the Victoria Centre and in Upper Parliament Street, among other locations.
And some reports online suggested the popular chain would be opening up soon in the Sherwood area of the city.
However, Greggs have issued a statement addressing the rumours.
Greggs said the firm couldn't confirm anything just yet - but that the company would share information on a potential new Sherwood store "in due course".
A Greggs spokesperson said: “Greggs is always looking into new shop locations, while we are unable to confirm anything at the moment, we will be sure to share any information in due course.”
Greggs opened a new Beeston store in December last year, creating six new jobs for the area.
