Greggs are bringing their very own Snack Fest to Newcastle to give fans the chance to get their hands on items from the new Primark fashion collection before its official drop.
After the launch of the first line saw huge queues outside Primark's store on Northumberland Street in the city centre earlier this year, with bargain hoodies and bucket hats ending up on eBay for nearly 10 times their original price. On Monday there was great excitement when the Geordie bakers confirmed there will soon be some more sought after items for pastry lovers and fashionistas to covet.
The new collection which will include the already viral Greggs crocs, cycling shorts, varsity jackets and cropped hoodies, will hit Primark shelves nationwide from Friday, August 5 but Greggs are giving people in Newcastle the chance to buy some a day earlier, when Snack Fest arrives on Northumberland Street on August 4.

‘Snackfest’ will offer fans the chance to enjoy live music, competitions and special guest appearances as well as purchasing selected items from the collection ahead of the launch in store.
The event will be open from 11am - 5pm, although fans are encouraged to arrive earlier in the day to be in with a chance of purchasing items, with the stock anticipated to sell-out within hours. To give as many people as possible a chance of getting their hands on the pre-sale items, there will be a limit of two per customer on every product in the new collection.
Newcastle is the last stop on the Snack Fest Bus Tour and one of only five locations on the list, joining Brighton, Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow.
