Greggs opens huge new Bristol store - creating 15 new jobs

Greggs has opened yet another store in Bristol, and this time it’s in a pretty convenient location. Located on Temple Quay. The new branch opened its doors to customers for the first time today (June 8) and becomes the city's 20th Greggs store.

Like other Greggs dotted around the city, it will stock a range of everybody’s favourite sandwiches, bakes and vegan options as well as their delicious ‘freshly-made’ sweet treats. From Steak Bakes and pizza slices to the classic Greggs sausage roll, and even their lunch deal of a sandwich and drink, customers will be spoiled with all their favourite choices.

Shoppers will be able to get their hands on their famous breakfast options as well, whether that be a breakfast roll and a hot drink or a baguette and orange juice, the offer will be served all the way up to 11am.

But it doesn’t stop there, the new store has also been kitted out with a Nuttal unit so customers can enjoy some of their favourite hot items as well. And for those wanting to grab something for the journey but are running a little late, the Click + Collect option will also be available.

Shop Manager Barwargo Sulub said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop. We’ve got an amazing range of tasty bakes, hot drinks, sweet treats and savouries available for takeaway or Click + Collect.”

Not only can customers get tasty food and delicious drinks to take away, there is ‘comfortable seating’ for people to use for eating in purchases - great if you have a little wait before your train.

Gillian Long, Retail Operations Director for Greggs, said: “Our new shop in Bristol Temple Quay has brought 15 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their favourite Greggs food.”

It will be open from 7am to 6pm Monday through to Saturday and 9am to 5pm on Sunday - perfect for people commuting in and out of the city for work.

And it's not the only new Greggs to have recently opened in the city, last month Greggs teamed up with Primark to bring their fourth Tasty by Greggs to Primark in Bristol which has been a great success.

Any future jobs for the new Temple Quay store will be posted on the Greggs careers page.
