Greggs has shaken up its menu for January by announcing the addition of a host of new vegan items for fans to usher in the new year with.
The nation's favourite bakery chain is getting ready for Veganuary by adding four new vegan-friendly items for your breakfast and lunch on the go.
Arriving in-stores nationwide starting from today, the new menu arrives just in time for the yearly challenge that see's many cut back on their meat and dairy consumption during January.
Available for fans to tuck into right now includes the £3.60 Vegan Southern Fried Chicken-Free Baguette that is a plant-based twist on the chain's fiery classic.
Also available are the new Chicken-Free Coujons that are priced from £3.20 and come with a sweet-chilli dip for a top-tier treat.
Greggs meny shake-up will also feature the return of the Warm Winter Vegetable Soup in-stores nationwide from tomorrow, Thursday, January 5. Costing from just £2.40, the creamy soup can also come with a roll for an extra 30p.
Another brand new item arriving later this week will be the Vegan Chicken-Free Cajun Roll that will join the menu this weekend on Saturday, January 7.
The roll is also part of the sandwich deal, meaning you can add a drink of your choice from 55p and wedges for an extra £1.
The new items join Greggs' already well-established line-up of vegan friendly options which includes the iconic Vegan Sausage Roll, the Glazed Ring Doughnut, Sweet Potato and Onion Bhaji Rice Box and Southern Fried Potato Wedges.
Customers can also get try out the new menu by ordering for delivery through Just Eat or by the Click + Collect service via the Greggs website and app.
Anyone looking for a meat-free breakfast in the morning can pick up popular hashbrowns for just £1.20 or by adding them to a regular breakfast deal for 50p.
The Glazed Ring Doughnut is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth and costs just 95p on its own, or can be added with a regular hot drink for the price of £2.70.
There is also the bestselling vegan sausage roll that offers a plant-based alternative to the chain's most popular pastry for just £1.20 on its own, or for £2.70 with a regular hot drink and soup.
Greggs follows a host of popular food chains that have began to shake up their menus this month for the annual Veganuary which challenges you to cut back on your meat and dairy consumption.
McDonald's has recently announced the arrival of the brand new Double McPlant burger, while Heinz has launched new vegan Cream of Tomato Soup and vegan Baked Beanz and Sausages.
