Greg Dulcich is a bright spot for the Broncos’ offense

The Denver Broncos’ offense has been terrible this season.

Denver scored just nine points on Sunday and the unit is averaging just 13.8 points per game overall this year, which easily ranks worst in the NFL.

There does appear to be one bright spot on offense for the Broncos, though: tight end Greg Dulcich.

The rookie out of UCLA led the team in targets (eight), receptions (six) and receiving yards (85) on Sunday with Courtland Sutton sidelined and KJ Hamler on injured reserve. Jerry Jeudy was back in the lineup and caught four passes for 65 yards, but Dulcich was the team’s best receiver on the day.

In seven games this season, Dulcich has now totaled 25 catches for 319 yards and one touchdown. Those aren’t huge numbers, but Denver’s offense will take all the help it can get at this point.

Fantasy football managers should take note, too, because reliable tight ends can be hard to find. Dulcich has a chance to emerge as a key part of the Broncos’ offense over the final five weeks of the season.
