Greens and Labour pledge to work with SNP to put Scottish buses under public control

THE Scottish Greens and Scottish Labour have said they will work with the SNP to deliver John Swinney’s flagship conference pledge to bring Scotland’s buses back into public control.

However, the First Minister’s keynote address has also faced criticism from both within and outwith the SNP for being light on detail on proposed reforms to government structure – as well as allegedly “deprioritising independence”.
