GreenLight Media began with a question that Avinash Singh could not answer from his couch. He was watching golf on television. He could see the shot. He could see the reaction. What he could not do was stand beside the player and watch the swing from the angle that explained it. That gap, between watching an event and being present inside it, became the genesis of the company he now leads.
Spatial media is the term for that shift. It is the difference between a fixed camera angle chosen by a director and a scene the viewer can move through. The category has been growing in visibility in recent years, with headset-based platforms and immersive venues attracting attention. GreenLight's approach is different in one specific way. "You do not require headsets," Singh says. "It is available through normal distribution on a browser, a smartphone, a tablet, or a smart TV."
