A pointed video making fun of American culture has gone viral with over 8 million views as tensions between Greenland and the U.S. grow over President Donald Trump’s plans to acquire the territory. Greenlanders are using social media to mock American culture in ways that are hard to ignore.
According to Newsweek, the video, posted on TikTok by @pov_fromarctic, shows two people imitating the Fentanyl Fold. This is the posture where people under the influence of opioids bend over at the waist. They captioned the clip “Bringing American culture to Greenland.” The comment section filled with people, including Americans, joining in on the joke. One user wrote, “As an American, I was unfamiliar with Greenland’s humor game. Well done, carry on.”
