A DEPUTY leader of the Green Party of England and Wales has claimed victory in a defamation battle against a GB News pundit and social media personality who smeared him as participating in a riot.

Mothin Ali has secured apologies and “substantial damages” from TV presenter Alex Armstrong and influencer Bernadette Spofforth after a High Court case.
