Chuffed Ange Postecoglou applauded supporters as he was serenaded in the wake of his 100th match in charge after the 3–1 win against Hearts.
And the Green Brigade displayed a banner which riffed on the misfired prediction the Australian wouldn't see out his first six months in charge in Glasgow's east end. The Ultras told their wildly popular boss they want him for '100 more' after he guided them to another win as they edged towards a second consecutive title in a row. Postecoglou came under fire after three defeats in his first six league games but it has been utter domination since with his losing only once in the Premiership over the past 16 months.
Postecoglou famously joked on trophy day last season one award he missed out on last year was axed by Christmas – something he believed he'd been pegged for. And the 57–year-old was keen to applaud his public after the latest victory leaves Celtic nine points ahead of Rangers with a superior goal difference and only 10 games to go.
