It's set to be a cloudy, often rainy week ahead in Greater Manchester, but conditions should brighten up by the weekend with highs of 19C.
Today (Monday 23 May) will remain dry but cloudy, with overcast conditions forecast at times. Temperatures will peak at around 15C in the late morning and they'll stay in double figures overnight too, with a minimum of 11C.
Tuesday welcomes a 'cloudy and wet start in many places' according to the Met Office. Manchester will see another cloudy start, with light showers forecast to fall from 9am to 2pm.

The rain should ease from 3pm, with conditions remaining dry for the rest of the day. By the evening, the sun is due to make an appearance from 6pm to as late as 9pm.
Wednesday is set to mostly be a washout, with a grey, overcast start and rain falling by mid-morning. By lunchtime the showers will turn heavy, but they should become lighter and ease by around 7pm.
Much of the same will be seen on Thursday, with showers starting light and becoming heavy until by lunchtime. From around 7pm they will become lighter and eventually stop, with the night becoming clear from 10pm onwards.
Friday's conditions will be similar to Monday's, with clouds blanketed the sky and overcast conditions forecast at times. The good news, however, is that a bit more sun is on the way in the evening. Sunny intervals are forecast from 4pm and temperatures will reach 15C.
The weekend will become much brighter; Mancunians will wake up to uninterrupted sunshine on Saturday, changing to sunny intervals by the early evening. Temperatures will stretch to 18C and don't forget the suncream as UV levels will be high.
Another glowing is forecast for Sunday, with sunny intervals expected throughout the rest of the day. Feeling ever so slightly warmer than the previous day, temperatures will peak at 19C.
