The only Greater Manchester-wide awards for the whole health and care workforce are back for their fourth year. The Greater Manchester Health and Care Champion Awards recognise those people who regularly go above and beyond to improve the health and wellbeing of people in the region.
Workers are nominated for categories such as the People’s Champion and Volunteer Champion, as well as new categories introduced this year, including the Lifetime Achievement Award and Workplace of the Year. Nominations across all thirteen categories have now opened, with the deadline for submissions closing on March 10.
The awards are organised by NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care (NHS GM), with support from the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham. They were established back in 2018, and in 2021 the awards went virtual to recognise those who had worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic.
