Grandma lays out 'funeral rules' insisting her guests get drunk and do shots

We've all thought about what happens to us when we die - which often leaves us in a pit of panic and despair.

But we perhaps think a little less about what happens to those we leave behind when we kick the bucket - and how they'll say goodbye to us.

Still, there are some people who have a pretty clear idea of how they want their funeral to go and who they want to attend.

One grandmother from Connecticut in the US has shared her stipulations for her funeral - and although they're pretty simple requests, she's incredibly headstrong about them, LadBible reports.

Lillian Droniak, who is 92, wrote down her three rules that she expects to be followed at her funeral - and she's filmed a video on TikTok to explain them too.

The first key rule is that she wants people to cry for her - but not too much.

"Don't make a fool of yourself," she quipped.

The second is that the ceremony is open to all - apart from a woman named Bertha, who is not on the invite list.

When explaining Bertha is not welcome at her final goodbye, Lillian said: "Don't let her in."

Although it sounds like there's a fascinating backstory between Lillian and Bertha, sadly she doesn't elaborate on why the woman isn't invited to the funeral.

Lillian's final stipulation for guests is that they should be sad at the funeral itself - but they had better go and get drunk afterwards.

She said: "Take a shot for me."

Lillian, who has a staggering 3.9 million followers on TikTok @grandma_droniak, films make up tutorials, fashion tips and dating advice on her channel.

In another recent video, the 92-year-old shared the things she looks out for as "red flags" in a potential new partner.

She explained if a man doesn't hold the door open for her, she knows he's not Mr Right.

"It's not that hard," she said.

Another big no-no for Lillian is a man who doesn't enjoy Bingo - and she made it clear she won't even bother dating a man who isn't into it.

Her fourth red flag is any man who doesn't keep soup stocked up in his fridge for her - because she loves a good bowl of soup.

Finally, she said she won't entertain a man who doesn't tell her she looks pretty all the time.

She said: "I want nothing to do with him."
