The Grand National is a handicap steeplechase, meaning that all horses are set a certain weight ahead of the race to meet in order to ensure a more even field.
This is reflected in the betting market with no clear favourite as three horses currently occupy the top slot in the current betting stakes, as Snow Leopardess, Delta Work and Minella Times all line up at 8/1 for the big race.
Rachael Blackmore, fresh off winning the Cheltenham Gold Cup with A Plus Tard, will be aboard Minella Times with whom she won the 2021 Grand National and will be hoping that she can become only the second rider this century to win the race back to back on the same horse after Tiger Roll in 2018 and 2019.
There are plenty of other worthy contenders in the Grade One race and here we take a look at the field, breaking down where the money will be going, you can check out Liverpool Echo Racing Reporter Chris Wright's tips here.
