Ladies Day at the Grand National is renowned for its fashion and Aintree’s racegoers will put every effort in to look their best.
Thankfully, it looks like the weather should be somewhat kind to the many spectators descending on the esteemed racecourse. According to the Met Office, today should see large spells of sunshine.
There will be showers in the early hours until 6am. The rest of the morning will be cloudy with sunny intervals until midday, when spectators should get some sunshine.

Sadly, there is a high chance of showers at 1pm, albeit with clouds and sunny intervals. After that, Ladies Day attendees will be able to bask in sunny weather for the rest of the day.
Furthermore, in contrast with yesterday’s wind speeds hitting 20mph, today should be a much calmer affair. The wind is forecast to hit highs of 9mph.
Temperatures will not be too high though, hovering between 7°C-10°C throughout the day. With other factors taken into consideration, it will actually feel like 4°C-9°C at various times.
