The Grand National was won on Saturday by Corach Rambler, with the ante-post favourite living up to pre-race expectations to storm home to victory.
It will have pleased many of the punters present at Aintree, with a win for the favourite rare in such events. Pre-race odds of 8/1 left plenty of room for big winners, but none will have been more welcome than a win which has been circulated on Twitter by user @LJC_85.
They placed a £1 tricast, with a prediction on the horses which would finish 1-2-3 in the race coming in for returns of a remarkable £1994.81. They predicted that Corach Rambler would win, followed by Vaniller and Gaillard Du Mesnil in an impressive prediction on the notoriously hard to predict steeplechase.

It will have been part of a tough day for the bookies, with Gaillard Du Mesnil also living up to pre-race predictions to finish third as 17 horses crossed the line.
The win will have also been a delight for Cameron Sword, a 21-year-old student who forms part of the winning ownership syndicate for Corach Rambler, The Ramblers. He said: “Derek (Fox) rode a blinder! He was leading, he was at the front for most of that race, and we were thinking he should be a bit further back, but Derek rode a blinder. And Corach Rambler - what a horse. I’m lost for words."
