The Grand National Festival's annual Ladies Day returns this Friday with all the action on show for fashion and racing fans at home.
While the three-day festival as a whole is regarded as one of the most prestigious on the British sporting calendar, Ladies Day in itself also holds a level of prestige as one of the biggest social events of the year to take place in the North West.
Thousands descend upon Aintree racecourse on Friday with fashion the focus, and over the years there have been many elegant entries for the festival's style awards.

Still, this would ultimately not be possible without the racing that takes place, with plenty of excitement in store again in 2023. For those hoping to tune in from afar to witness both the off-track glamour and on-field guile, the Liverpool Echo has you covered.
What TV channel is Ladies Day coverage on?
On Friday the bulk of the day's racing will be shown on ITV's coverage, presented by Ed Chamberlain and co.
ITV Racing will be live between 2:00pm and 5:00pm on ITV1, showing five races live. Additionally, the coverage will be accessible via live stream on the broadcaster's ITVX platform.
That then leaves the first and final races of the day, which fall outside of ITV's time slot. Not to worry, though, as fans will be able to access those races via the Racing TV channel and website, or alternatively via bookmakers' websites.
