It’s Ladies Day at Aintree with thousands of racegoers descending on Merseyside once again for the second - and most fashionable afternoon - of the Grand National Festival.
There are another seven top-quality races on a packed card on Friday, including the feature Marsh Chase (3:30pm), for which the winner takes home over £140,000.
The last two instalments of the race have been won by Fakir D'Oudairies, with Joseph O’Brien’s charge seeking a hat-trick. But he looks to have strong competition in the form of the Paul Nicholls-trained Pic D’Orhy.
