Grand National 2023: Confirmed 39 runners for Aintree race after horse withdrawn

Thirty-nine runners are set to go to post for the 2023 Grand National with last year’s winner Noble Yeats and the current favourite Delta Work among them. The iconic steeplechase takes place at 5:15pm at Aintree on Saturday.

The top weight is Any Second Now, the runner-up in 2022, with the Ted Walsh-trained horse carrying 11st 12lb. Market movers in the last 36 hours include Ain’t That A Shame - Rachael Blackmore’s mount who is now into 9/1 having been 20/1 earlier in the week.

A maximum field of 40 had been declared before Escaria Ten was withdrawn from the race on Saturday morning, with 39 runners now taking part. Here are the 2023 Grand National runners and riders:
