Every year, women arrive at Aintree racecourse on Ladies Day dressed to the nines and with the hope of winning the coveted Style Award.
From glamorous dresses to power suits, huge headdresses and incredible shoes, the ladies of Liverpool did it again this year, making fashion statements as they arrived for a fun-filled day of racing. This year, the Style Award judges crowned Donna Mulligan as the best dressed racegoer on Ladies Day.
There were, of course, many others who stood out from the crowd in truly show-stopping outfits. ECHO reporters and photographers spent the day at Aintree today, and spotted a number of true style icons. You can look back at today's coverage as it happened, here.

One trend spotted today was the bold power suit. Many swapped traditional gowns for something bolder in order to make a statement.
Bright-coloured suits of arctic blue, bumblebee yellow and crisp white have been spotted at the festival already today, suggesting it will be a key fashion trend for Ladies' Day 2022. Thankfully, the weather was much brighter than Thursday - which saw racegoers battling harsh wind and rain.
