Chelsea struggled to compete against Arsenal as the Blues fell to a 1-0 defeat against the Premier League leaders at Stamford Bridge.
Graham Potter's team selection was hampered by a number of injury issues with Kepa Arrizabalaga and Ben Chilwell both ruled out for the London derby. Arsenal returned to the summit of the English top-flight after Gabriel Magalhaes poked home a second-half winner from a Bukayo Saka corner.
Chelsea now sit seventh in the table, level on points with Potter's former side Brighton, with a Carabao Cup tie against Manchester City up next. Potter will be hoping he can turn things around at Stamford Bridge after his team have struggled in the past two Premier League fixtures.

Chelsea's performance against Arsenal left fans downbeat as Mikel Arteta's side cruised to victory and were by far the better side at Stamford Bridge. Speaking after the game, former Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong was very critical of the Blues claiming they have 'no DNA'.
De Jong slammed Potter's side and admitted: "The game is done and I still wonder how Chelsea actually play. This Chelsea has no DNA. No philosophy. No energy. No belief."
This will be the main worry for Potter as he continues to implement his style and tactics in west London after he replaced Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea boss at the start of September. It was not just the defeat, but the manner in which the Blues approached the game and the lack of energy and fight showed on the pitch throughout.
Potter will be hoping to see a reaction from his team for the huge Carabao Cup third round clash against Manchester City up next as he aims to turn Chelsea's form around before the Premier League is paused for the World Cup in Qatar.
