Raheem Sterling has been replaced by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang inside the opening minutes in Chelsea's clash against Manchester City. The 28-year-old winger fell to the floor with a grimace following a collision with John Stones.
He has featured 14 times for the Blues following the appointment of Graham Potter, directly contributing towards five goals. Despite the west Londoners' misfortune in front of goal, Sterling has proven to be an important feature in the side.
The England international has done well to evade injury since swapping the Etihad Stadium for Stamford Bridge in the summer. Though, unfortunately for Sterling, he now joins a growing list of absentees who are nursing injuries.

As well as now Sterling, Edouard Mendy, Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Ben Chilwell, N'Golo Kante, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Armando Broja are all currently out due to injury. But, Sterling hasn't been the only Chelsea player to have picked up a knock in the last few hours.
Mason Mount was omitted from the Blues' starting lineup to face City due to injury. The 23-year-old was left out of Chelsea's squad following an issue picked up in training, football.london understands.
The England international is said to have suffered a small knock with the west Londoners hopeful that he will be fit enough to return in the coming days. Chelsea have a congested fixture schedule ahead of the them, with four more games inside in two weeks.
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the bout against Pep Guardiola's side, Potter revealed it was a result of a kick in training. The Blues boss said: "No, he had a kick in training yesterday. It never rains but it pours as they."
The severity of Sterling's knock picked up against City remains to be seen. Upon being substituted, the winger was pictured to be walking unassisted by the club's medical staff while being applauded the home fans - which can only come as a promising sign.
Just minutes later, Christian Pulisic appeared to have also picked up an injury too. The United States international was replaced by Carney Chukwuemeka.
