Graham Potter has revealed that Christian Pulisic could be out for a 'couple of months' following an injury suffered against Manchester City in the Premier League last week.
Pulisic was injured following a clash with City's John Stones in the 20th minute and had to leave the field. The injury now appears to be a serious one, with the player now set to miss the next couple of months, which is a huge blow for Potter with Raheem Sterling also having suffered an injury.
The USA international had started three successive matches on his return from the World Cup following impressive performances in Qatar and will be disappointed having made an apparent breakthrough in securing regular first team football. Potter's Chelsea team have been extremely injury hit this season and Pulisic is just the latest star to be ruled out of action.

Potter was talking to the press ahead of Chelsea's clash with Fulham in the Premier League tomorrow night (Thursday) and also revealed the injury status of Sterling, as well as the latest on Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ben Chilwell.
"Christian [Pulisic] is a couple of months we think. Raheem is less, hopefully less than that," Potter said. "Ruben and Ben Chilwell getting closer. Reece was out on the grass today, not training with the team but on his own. N’Golo [Kante] is training on his own but a long way to go."
In good news for Potter, a loan deal for Joao Felix was confirmed on Wednesday with the Atletico Madrid star expected to fill in on the left wing amid the current injury concerns within the Blues squad.
