Graham Potter is expected to still be in charge of Chelsea when Liverpool visit Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night in the Premier League.
Both sides were beaten in their latest league matches as the Reds were put to the sword by Manchester City while Chelsea were defeated 2-0 at home by Aston Villa.
The West London side's defeat to Villa on Saturday evening saw them slip into the bottom half of the league as they occupy 11th while Liverpool are languishing in 8th position.

Potter arrived at Stamford Bridge in September after the sacking of Thomas Tuchel, but is now under huge pressure to turn results around after a massive £600 million was spent on his squad.
The former Brighton and Hove Albion boss has won just 12 of his 31 matches in charge, drawing eight and losing 11. However, he is set to be in the opposite dugout to Jurgen Klopp on Tuesday night.
CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs claims it is "business as usual" at Chelsea on Sunday following their latest defeat as they focus on the visit of Liverpool.
