Graham Glasgow releases statement after being cut by Broncos

The Denver Broncos made three roster moves last week that saved the team more than $26.5 million in salary cap space.

One of the moves was releasing veteran offensive lineman Graham Glasgow, who was set to earn $14 million in 2023 before being cut.

Glasgow did not have an instant reaction to the news on social media. Instead, the 30-year-old lineman waited two days before tweeting this message on Sunday:

“Now that I’ve had a few days to think, I’d like to thank the Broncos, my teammates, and the city of Denver for the past 3 seasons. While I’m disappointed in how some things went and how things ended, I’m appreciative and grateful for my time here. Excited for what comes next!”

After spending the first four years of his career with the Detroit Lions, Glasgow signed a four-year, $44 million contract with the Broncos in 2020. He went on to start 33 games from 2020-2022, spending time at guard and center.

Denver is expected to retool its offensive line this offseason with multiple additions. We are tracking all of the team’s free agency moves on Broncos Wire.
