Graeme Souness singles out Leeds United midfielder for praise

Graeme Souness has singled out Leeds United midfielder Brenden Aaronson for praise after his performance in the 2-1 victory over Liverpool at Anfield.

Leeds ran 11km more than Liverpool, while Aaronson covered a total distance of 13.2km - more than any other player has registered in a Premier League match this season. Aaronson has started every game for Leeds in the Premier League since arriving from Red Bull Salzburg for £24.7 million on a five-year deal in May.

The 22-year-old has showcased his tireless work ethic on the pitch in the Premier League and Souness recognised those qualities against Liverpool.
