Beloved Rangers hero Graeme Souness is poised for fresh talks to secure an emotional Ibrox return.
The 70-year-old was a recent visitor to his former club where he enjoyed a sit down with chief executive James Bisgrove as informal discussions were held over an official return to the side he starred for and managed in the the 1980s. And now the Scottish Sun state a a second round of talks is scheduled between icon and club.
Bubbling rumours over Souness returning as director of football almost boiled over last month before it was played down. However, there appears genuine desire to bring the revered Scottish football star back into the Rangers fold after leaving Sky Sports and his role as a leading broadcaster for their Premier League coverage. Bisgrove previously stated an ambassadorial role could be the perfect fit.
