Harry Kane has been told to seek clarity from Antonio Conte over Tottenham's transfer ambitions before making a decision on his future.
The striker attempted to leave the club back in the summer as Manchester City circled but chairman Daniel Levy refused to sell his prized asset. It leaves Kane at a crossroads amid claims he was unhappy a gentleman's agreement was not honoured by the Tottenham chief.
Kane is yet to win a trophy in his career and that drought will continue with Tottenham unable to challenge for silverware this term. The north London outfit could also miss out on the top four with Conte set for a big summer as he attempts to turn the club into genuine challengers.
