GPs raise alarm as patients flag life-threatening symptoms via non-urgent form

Patients have submitted requests relating to life-threatening conditions on non-urgent forms following changes to online access to GP surgeries, family doctors have said.

Since 1 October, general practices in England have been required to keep an online consultation platform open during working hours for non-urgent appointment requests, medication queries and admin issues.
