Mainpuri: Samajwadi Party leader and former MP Dharmendra Yadav alleged that the death of jailed don Mukhtar Ansari has raised a big question on the intensions of the government. Dharmendra Yadav said it is very unfortunate that if there is the highest number of custodial deaths anywhere, it is Uttar Pradesh. People are not safe anywhere, neither on the roads nor in their homes, reports Dynamite News correnspondent.
He said people used to consider jail as a safe place and now even in jail, it is not safe. We don't know when and where the government will kill or poison anybody?
There is no doubt that such incidents are being carried out 100 percent at the government behest.
Despite Mukhtar Ansari having a big criminal history, Samajwadi Party expresses grief on his 'sudden' death in custody, said Dharmendra Yadav.
He said if someone is a criminal, there is a provision in our Constitution to deal with. No government has the right to take a person's life.
Regarding the announcement of Party candidates on the remaining seats for upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the SP leader said that Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav would soon declare their names.
