Govt expects 25,000 registrations under Parivartan scheme to replace old trucks, buses in Delhi-NCR

New Delhi: The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways expects 25,000 beneficiary registrations under the Parivartan scheme launched last month to phase out polluting commercial vehicles in Delhi-NCR.

As many as 1,450 old truck and bus owners have so far registered under the scheme since its launch on July 14, road transport and highways secretary V Umashankar said on Friday.
