Babydog is a beloved English Bulldog who is part of Justice's family, along with two Boston terriers named Lucy and Ellie, as per the governor's campaign website for his U.S. Senate bid in November.
At four years old, Babydog is known for her white and tan and brown coat, stubby legs, and adorable folds around her face. She will be turning five in late October.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Babydog was chosen as the mascot for Justice's vaccination sweepstakes. A dedicated website, 'DoItForBabydog.wv.gov,' was launched to promote coronavirus vaccinations.
Described as friendly and charming, Babydog has made special appearances at significant events like the Governor’s State of the State address. She has also been actively involved in meeting people and spreading joy during her travels alongside the Governor.
