Minnesota Governor Tim Walz expressed his condolences to those impacted by the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. During a visit to Petoskey, Michigan, Gov. Walz mentioned that he had been in contact with President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper to discuss the situation.
Gov. Walz commended the collaborative efforts of federal, state, and local authorities in responding to the aftermath of the hurricane, which has tragically claimed the lives of at least 128 individuals across six states and left millions without electricity.
