Beshear highlighted Harris' intelligence, strength, kindness, and empathy as qualities that make her not only a good president but a potentially great one.
Speculation had arisen regarding Beshear's potential candidacy to replace President Biden after the latter announced the suspension of his re-election campaign. However, Beshear put an end to these rumors by throwing his full support behind Harris.
