FC Sheriff Tiraspol left-back Patrick Kpozo said Antony “couldn’t do anything” against him in last month’s Europa League tie against Manchester United.
The Reds ran out 2-0 winners but the defender - who was once managed by Graham Potter at Ostersunds FK - believes that his side can claim a shock result at Old Trafford on Thursday. The Ghanian received plaudits for his handling of £85m deadline day signing Antony in the reverse fixture.
"People thought Antony was going to 'kill' me in the first game," Kpozo told BBC Sport Africa. "He is a very good player but when he came up against me, he couldn't do anything."

United fans will be hoping Antony, who is yet to score for his new club in Europe, can get the better Kpozo this time around but the 25-year-old is determined to prevent him doing so when they meet for a second time in this year's Europa League.
He added: "Still, they are saying again that he will 'kill' me again in the match at Old Trafford. I'm sure he will be trying to do everything possible to prove himself, but I believe in myself.
"I am strong, fast and when I stay close to him, he has nowhere to go. I've got him." A strike from Jadon Sancho and a penalty from Cristiano Ronaldo was enough to beat Sheriff in Moldova but Kpozo is bullish about his side’s chances in Manchester.
He said: " United didn't get a lot of chances against us last time and I believe in my team. We think we can get something from the game."
