Gorka Marquez made a very gracious gesture towards his Strictly Come Dancing partner Helen Skelton, in a move that was noticed by viewers at home during Sunday's semi final.
With just a week to go until the series finale of Strictly, Gorka and Helen are creeping more and more into contention, with the bookies shortening their odds all the time. Going into Sunday's live show, which was put back a night due to the World Cup, Helen and Gorka were second favourites to win in the betting and got off to a good start, getting 35 out of 40 for their first performance, a waltz to Celine Dion's Only One Road.
The couple were then back on the dancefloor later on in the evening, aiming to book themselves a place in the final four, with an intense Argentine Tango to Eurhythmics classic Here Comes the Rain Again. And, as the music finished, fans watching BBC One, noticed Gorka graciously step aside to let Helen get the lion's share of the applause and cheers, before high fiving her.

Noticing the gesture, one viewer took to Twitter to post: "Gorka has a special ability to downplay his own talent to let his partner shine, amazing partner for Helen. A second reacted: "Gorka showing his dance magnificence, but never over shadowing his celeb."
After the judges awarded them an impressive 37 out of 40 for their second dance, giving them a combined total of 72 out of 80, Gorka then spoke out in support of Helen, when asked by host Claudia Winkleman why she deserved to make next week's final.
Former Blue Peter host Helen signed up to do Strictly after a tough few months, following her split from ex husband Richie Myler. And while he didn't acrually mention her marriage breakdown, Gorka did elude to it when he talked about why she should make it through to next week.
