Gorka Marquez appeared a little bit emotional as he discovered a hidden Valentine's Day card from his fiancee Gemma Atkinson after he left her 'solo'. Gemma told her Instagram followers over the weekend that her Strictly Come Dancing star partner had headed off for work leaving her 'riding solo' with their daughter, Mia.
Gorka, 32, is currently preparing to hit the road with his co-star on the BBC One show and his dance partner Karen Hauer as they bring their Firedance 2023 tour to venues across the country - including The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Gemma told her millions of followers in a video posted to her Instagram Story: "Gorka's back on the road now.
"He's back touring. Gone rehearsing [for] Firedance. Have you got your tickets? [It's] gonna be very good." She then went on: "So, solo! I'm riding solo so my house is going to be on it's a**e which is fine, it always is. Probably knackered but hey ho. Keeping moving is what they say. Lean with it rock with it. It's what you gotta do."

But Gemma, 38, was sure not to forget that Valentine's Day, which is also the day they got engaged in 2021, occurred while he was away and romantically snuck a card into his case for him to open while he's away rehearsing ahead of the start of the tour later this month.
Posting a black and white picture of the card to his Instagram Story, Gorka penned: "She hid it inside my luggage," alongside a weary face emoji and a love heart eyes emoji. The front of the card read: "For my other half. Life makes more sense since I found you. You're my missing piece and the only one I'll ever want by my side."
Hits Radio host Gemma, who is pregnant with her and Gorka's second child together, which they have previously revealed is a baby boy, also shared a short but sweet tribute on Instagram to her man, who she met when she was a contestant on Strictly in 2017 with romance later blossoming between the pair on the BBC One show's live tour.
She shared a montage of images and clips which her iPhone had handily created from 2018, the year the loved-up pair went official with their relationship. "How apt that my phone made a portraits video today and every picture is 2018 pre parenthood when we actually had the time to drop everything and have long weekends away exploring," Gemma typed alongside the video with a crying laughing emoji.
She went on to say: "I'm glad we crammed so much in, and excited we have so much left to do as a Family. HVD @gorka_marquez I love you." And Gorka was quick to reply, writing in the comments: "I love you more."
And fans were quick to gush over the modern public display of affection. @nixiepixie85 said: "Ahhh you are both so gorgeous and real. Absolute goals." @woodgatehelen wrote: "Gorgeous pictures of a gorgeous couple." @jax.1964 shared: "You two are a match made in heaven! Beautiful couple!"
@pashasmam replied: "Just beautiful. Your such a lovely couple. Loads of love to you and your little (soon to be bigger!) Family." @jojohelsby67 shared: "U2 are gorgeous together x perfect match x HVD." @karen.gibbs9 posted: "Lovely Mem’s of a gorgeous couple." @tom.c.m added: "You two together make me laugh smile and rejoice at love."
And Gorka's post on his own Instagram page prompted plenty of the same comments. Sharing two selfies of the pair, the dad-of-one simply typed: " HVD @glouiseatkinson."
