A 'bubbly' woman who travelled to Liverpool to celebrate her friend's hen do was tragically found dead in the bathroom of her Airbnb apartment. Kay Reed took a minibus with a group of other women to the city for the weekend from Redcar in North Yorkshire on April 29, the Liverpool Echo reports.
The following day the group celebrated the bride-to-be with rounds of crazy golf before returning to their apartments on Dale Street where Kay said she felt unwell and went to bed. The 29-year-old was later found at around 1.30am on May 1 on the floor of the apartment bathroom by her friend, Louise Johnson.
Her inquest in Liverpool on Monday heard that paramedics raced to the scene but she could unfortunately not be resuscitated. Her devastated friends set up a web page as they paid tribute to their 'beautiful' pal.
