Shoppers are rushing to Poundland to snap up "gorgeous" winter boots that they say are "cheaper than Primark" prices. Poundland is often associated with £1 items like cleaning products, kitchen items and food, but the high street chain also has an expanding fashion offering.
And while it may not be the first place many shoppers look, it seems there are some bargains to be found. One thrifty buyer went viral online after finding a cheap pair of boots that had other mums racing out to get their own, reports ManchesterEveningNews.
Imogen Jackson posted a picture of the Poundland winter boots in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, writing: "Cutest baby Girls boots in Poundland!! £9." The nude tone boots have an elasticated side panel, fleece lining and a cleated sole, which provides grip in the slippery winter conditions.
