Gordon Ramsay’s casual restaurants among wave of new additions to Uber Eats

Chef Gordon Ramsay will headline a new wave of restaurants arriving on Uber Eats in London.

Ramsay, who has been awarded 17 Michelin stars over the course of his career, will see his Street Pizza, Street Burger, Pizza East, and Bread Street Kitchen brands added to the food delivery app in September. His three-star flagship on Hospital Road will not, however, be joining them.

The casual Ramsay restaurants join the likes of the upmarket sandwich shop Yolk, Honi Poke, and Neapolitan pizzeria Cinquecento, as Uber Eats looks to add to its 20,000 restaurants listed across the capital.

Also upcoming to the app is the cult East London favourite Sonora Taqueria, Sushi Murasaki, Italian restaurant Il Bianco, Truffle Burger, and the Chinese noodle shop YUN, which specialises in the food from Yunnan province, a region that borders Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar.

Uber Eats said its service has been “growing rapidly” in London over the past 18 months.

“We’re delighted that so many brilliant restaurants have joined Uber Eats in London,” said UK general manager Matthew Price. “Customers have an amazing selection to choose from.”

The news of the latest restaurants to join the platform follows the announcement of the regional shortlist for the Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year Awards.

This year’s London list included Brorittos, What the Pitta, Eat Lebö, Skewd Kitchen, It’s All Greek To Me, Roti King, Tofu Vegan, Gunpowder, and Halo Burger.
