MasterChef viewers were not happy when Gordon Ramsey appeared on the BBC cooking show this week.
Officially in finals week, we saw the budding cooks make their own interpretation of a classical dish. However, during Wednesday night's episode, the four remaining contestants then became three as Sarah Rankin was booted off for her take on haggis, neeps and tatties.
The remaining three cooks then headed to Gordon's flagship London hotspot, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. During their time at the celebrity chef's venue, he had to guide the amateur cooks to try and recreate dishes from his menu.

Although the 55-year-old shared the screen with his former protégé Paul Ainsworth, who according to CornwallLive owns several restaurants and is one of the county's best-known chef's, it was Gordon who hogged the limelight.
It wasn't long before viewers took to social media to complain about the celebrity chef with many saying he "ruined" the BBC cooking show. One person tweeted: "This is not the Gordon Ramsay Show!! Ruined the programme!!"
Another person said: "This is more like #TheApprentice."
Another said: "Almost switched off @MasterChefUK seeing Gordon Ramsay involved. He does seem to be teaching v shouting but not an easy watch."
Someone else commented: "It's the Gordon Ramsay show again...least we didn't have to suffer John and Gregg as much."
However, one viewer said the decision to have Gordon on MasterChef was the "worst decision".
They wrote: "Why do we want to watch a chef who can’t speak respectfully to contestants. He is all about his own ego and not encouraging these gifted amateurs."
The special dinner we saw on the show was an anniversary for the restaurant, who was celebrating 21 years of boasting an impressive three Michelin stars. Ramsay's flagship restaurant opened in 1998 and put French cuisine at the forefront of the London food scene.
The remaining finalists on MasterChef will compete for the crown at 8pm tonight on BBC One
