Adam Peaty’s estranged mother reportedly appears in Gordon Ramsay’s upcoming Netflix docuseries - despite her apparent insistence that she not be filmed.
Gordon’s six-part series, Being Gordon Ramsay, drops next week on the streaming platform and follows the chef as he opens three restaurants, a bar and a cooking academy at London’s 22 Bishopsgate.
The show also gives an insight into his family life with wife Tana and their six children - including daughter Holly and her new husband Adam.
Holly and Adam’s December nuptials were overshadowed by his bitter rift with his mother Caroline and the rest of his family, resulting in her being “banned” from the wedding.
Despite this, Caroline can briefly be seen at Holly and Adam’s engagement party on the show, according to the Mail.
The party was filmed months before the Peaty family rift became public.
The Standard has contacted Gordon’s representative for comment.
Adam’s estranged family reportedly demanded they be removed from the Netflix series, with Caroline apparently writing to the streaming giant.
”Caroline has written to Netflix to say the family were not asked for their consent to be filmed for Gordon’s documentary at last year’s engagement do,” a source told The Sun in December.
“She was very clear that, after everything that’s happened, they do not want to be featured.”
However, a separate source said filming notices were displayed at the party, which made guests aware that there was filming.

They said: “They stated that by attending you were giving your consent to appear in the show... the Peaty family members were not interviewed so no additional consent would have been needed.”
The new docuseries will be available to watch on Netflix from February 18.
Reports of a feud among the Peatys first emerged when his mother Caroline did not attend Holly’s star-studded hen do at Soho Farmhouse.
It was then claimed Adam’s parents were uninvited from his and Holly’s big day.
His mum, his aunt and several other family members called him out on social media for the apparent move.
Meanwhile, his brother James was arrested in November over allegations he sent threatening messages to his brother during his stag do in Budapest. James was questioned before being released.
Last week, Gordon spoke out on the bitter feud surrounding his son-in-law and his family.
He insisted the “upsetting” situation was “self-inflicted on [the Peatys’] side” and that they had “done nothing wrong”.
