  • Google TV Freeplay is adding 48 new FAST channels in the US, taking its library total to over 250
  • The wave of channels includes free entertainment and sports viewing, with a lot of new additions from NBC Universal
  • As well as entertainment and sports, Google is investing in bringing more local news channels to its library of FAST viewing

Google is expanding its scope of free-to-stream content once again, and the company has added 48 new free channels to its ad-supported Google TV Freeplay service in the US – surpassing 250 library channels in total.
