Google discontinued the 128GB models of its phones, meaning the cheapest models offered in prior years are no longer available.

Google Pixel 11: Design and Display
This year's Pixels look more alike than ever thanks to a new edge-to-edge glass camera bar design on the back. The base Pixel 11 features a 40% thinner camera bar than the Pro models, but it doesn't include the highlight of this year's design change: HiLight.
Pixel 11 Pro models include a new circular cluster of LEDs on the back called HiLight, replacing the temperature sensor from the Pixel 9 and 10 series. HiLight glows when you talk to Gemini or receive a notification (plus some other scenarios). Google says it's designed to keep you off the screen more often by providing glanceable status updates with custom colors and patterns.
The Pixel 11 is Google's most environmentally responsible Pixel ever, too, including the most recycled material we've ever seen on a smartphone to date. This includes (per Google):
- The aluminum in the housing is 100% recycled content
- Made with at least 31% recycled materials based on product weight
- 100% plastic-free packaging
- The battery cell is made with 100% recycled cobalt and 100% recycled lithium
- 100% recycled rare earth elements used in all magnets
- The haptic engine is made with 100% recycled tungsten and 100% recycled copper wire
- The main logic boards are made with 100% recycled copper and gold
- 100% recycled tin in the solder of multiple printed circuit boards
- Of 14 plastic components, 10 are made with recycled content that is at least 30% recycled plastic
Google is once again increasing the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL's screen brightness to a peak of 3600 nits. There's no word yet on whether Google has improved the PWM rate on these phones, but we'll be testing it in our reviews. Both Pro models feature stronger glass that's said to be 2x more scratch-resistant and uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Google Pixel 11: Performance and specs
All Pixel 11 models ship with the Google Tensor G6 processor inside. Tensor G6 should be around 20% faster and 20% more power efficient, plus includes a TPU that's 50% faster at processing Gemini commands. Tensor G6 also includes the Titan M3 security chip, making these the most secure Pixels ever.
The base Pixel 11 sports 12GB of RAM, while the Pro models all ship with 16GB. All Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro models are available in four colors, although the base Pixel 11 offers more vibrant versions of each color.

Every Pixel 11 ships with the same great Pixelsnap magnets inside, letting you use MagSafe accessories without a case. The base Pixel 11 now supports 25W wireless charging, and Google says the Pro models wirelessly charge up to 29% faster than before.
Google says all three models get 30+ hours of battery life, and the base Pixel 11 charges 50% in 30 minutes, while the Pro models hit 75% in the same time frame.
The base Pixel 11's camera island features upgraded sensors with 30x max digital zoom, while the Pro and Pro XL include new main and telephoto sensors with 120x max zoom. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL also get a selfie camera upgrade to 42MP.
Google Pixel 11: Camera
Camera spec upgrades are only half of the story with the Pixel 11. Google says NightSight is now instant, capturing at 4.5x the speed of previous Pixels. All three models can now zoom further than ever thanks to onboard Gemini image enhancement and upgraded sensors.
A new Magic Capture mode uses Gemini smarts to automatically photograph the best moments at any time. AI-powered scene understanding allows Gemini to understand when to capture the right moment, including smiling faces and movement. Based on our hands-on session with the phones, this is going to be a game-changing feature for people.
Pixel 11 also includes a bevy of new camera filters and default processing looks that you can choose between. Anyone making content is going to fall in love with the new teleprompter feature, which will automatically overlay your written script on top of the camera viewfinder while recording, automatically advancing the text as you talk.
Plus, Google says the Pixel 11 series records the best quality Pixel video ever, including a new Pro Stable Video feature on all Pro models.
Google Pixel 11: Software and Gemini Intelligence
The most central part of the Pixel 11 experience is Gemini Intelligence, marking Google's move from Android being an "operating system" to an "intelligence system." The Pixel 11 series ships with Android 17 plus a ton of new Pixel-exclusive features.
Videos can now be translated on the fly using Gemini, which even includes translating the audio in your language of choice. Circle to Search got an upgrade this year and can finally be used in the camera, a big request from many Pixel users.
Rambler is a new Pixel 11 feature that upgrades the voice-to-text engine, allowing you to talk more naturally without getting all those "ums" and "uhs" in your text, similar to Nothing's Essential Voice feature.
