Good news for RTE Kin fans as bosses announce second series production date and what to expect

RTE Kin Ireland

RTE have confirmed its hit crime series Kin will return for a second season.

The broadcaster announced the gripping gangland drama starring Aidan Gillen and Ciaran Hinds will go into production this summer and will again reach a global stage with AMC+ also picking it up for another season.

Dermot Horan Director of Acquisitions & Co-Productions for RTE said: "As the home of quality Irish drama, RTE is delighted to deliver another series of Kin to Irish audiences.
