In a move that could bring relief to millions of patients, the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has fixed retail prices for 30 drug formulations used to treat conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, infections and women's health issues.
The decision is expected to help reduce treatment costs, particularly for people who rely on long-term medication to manage chronic illnesses.
