Good Morning Britain viewers have given the thumbs up to new presenter Gordon Smart, who made his debut on the ITV programme on Thursday.

The 42-year-old Scottish host has been hailed a “hunk” and “breath of fresh air” after being drafted in for a two-episode stint while usual hosts Susanna Reid, Ben Shephard, and Kate Garraway take time off over the Christmas period.
